Extruder with T-Die 
Lorex extruders with the help of Hi-Q computer optimized screw ensures optimum melt homogenization and conveys the melt to the T-Die. 
T-Die features computer designed flow geometry for optimum mass flow distribution and minimum gauge variation across the width. 

Other attractive features of the extruder are grooved bush feeding, cold start protection, micro processor based PID controls, melt temperature and back pressure indicators and pneumatic movement of the extruder cart. 

Water Quench Unit 
The water quench film cooling system has special tank design for minimum turbulence, temperature controller for maintaining uniform temperature of water mass, devices like squeeze rubber rollers, suction pipes and wipers for ensuring dry film. 

Film slitter
The slitter unit mounted on a separate stand with oscillating knife pack ensures vibration free slitting of film and extended utilization of blades. With automatic screen changer, manually indexable six station slitter is recommended. With above, change to the new slitting stage is possible without reduction in the line speed.


Holding unit 

The holding unit with amply proportioned normal godets and positively driven nip roller ensures slip free stretching of the tapes.

Tape Extraction Unit 
Tape extraction unit helps during machine start up and catches broken tapes during operation. It is an efficient aspiration system comprising of suction nozzles, feed pipes and waste collection box.

Hot Air Oven
The hot air oven with independent blower for upper and lower level tunnels with common heating and velocity control mechanism ensures uniform temperature profile and air velocities over the entire heated surface, which is necessary for production of uniform quality of tapes. 

Stretching & Annealing Unit
The combined stretching and annealing unit with five/six amply proportioned godets has independent drives for the stretching and annealing zones. The configuration of godets can be arranged as per end requirement by providing mix of normal, hot and cool godets. The oil heated godets help to control the residual shrinkage in the stretched tapes. The water cooled godets ensures constant normal temperature of the tapes arriving at the Cheese winders.

Optional Accessories

Hopper Loaders , Dosing And Mixing Unit

Dosing and mixing unit upto five components can be supplied for feeding material proportionately as per programming to the extruder hopper. The unit utilizes screws for high metering accuracy. Every component has an independent hopper loader for conveying granules from bin to the doser.



Automatic Screen changer

Automatic screen changer with belt filter can be used in place of manual screen changer to minimize stoppages of tape stretching line for want of filter change.

Film folding Device
Film folding device is recommended for producing low denier tapes while utilizing the extruder output optimally. It is used in conjunction with a wider T-Die and the matching width of water quench unit.

Fibrillator
Fibrillator unit, placed between the hot air oven and the combined stretching and annealing unit is used for fibrillating the stretched tapes. The needle roller has an independent drive with replaceble needle bars whose pitch can be selected for the desired fibrillation structure. The modular design allows production of fibrillated and non-fibrillated tapes together. 


Additional Stretching Unit
Additional stretching unit is recommended for production of low residual shrinkage tapes or tapes with low elongation at break. The unit consists of three heated godets with an independent drive and a hot oil circulating unit.

Melt pump is used to neutralize the effect of surgings in the extruder and ensure uniform delivery of melt to the die. It improves the denier variation in the machine direction.


Auto gauging Die
is used for adjustment of gap of die lip automatically based on the feedback from thickness gauge monitoring system.This can be used only in conjunction with a scanner.


Water removal system is supplied additionally on specific requests either for higher operating speed or for the raw materials with tendency of carring more water during processing.

Auto gauging die in conjuction with scanner is recommended to produce tapes with denier variation that are closely tolerated. The automatic profile controller takes input from the scanner and gives output to adjust the die lip thermal bolts to control film thickness.
Extended Hot air oven is recommended for higher speed tapelines for uniform and proper orientation.

In the Centralized computer control system the automatic control of temperature with optimization and precise speed adjustment of drives of all the units is easily obtained. The computer performs other functions like the managemnet of recipe and alarm, displays the trend of melt pressure / temperature in graphic or tabular form etc. All these parameters are located in the memory and can be recalled at any time.
